Who are we?
"Volunteers of SS. George" are a group of volunteers with different professions, different ages and positions.
We believe and strive through deed and prayer to do good and to be merciful and selfless in our support of people who are sick, suffering and in need of their efforts to improve their condition.
Activities
Support for the sick and needy.
We communicate with the suffering, support them and accompany them in what they experience. We pay attention to them. We bring them food, medicine, shop, assist in medical care in need.
Providing food to the needy
We collect food from donors - bread, dishes, raw materials, cook (mainly on Sundays), deliver to homes and we distribute in the parking lot at Alexandrovska Hospital food to the needy three times a week.
Other activities
We assist those in need for social benefits, to receive medical care, we assist with clothes and belongings, textbooks and others to those in need, we organize cooking by those who wish.
